Maybe there would be chemistry if Hartley stopping f-ing up the lines every period....I dont get it. Keep a set lineup for a few games...not that hard. He is over coaching now.

Best 3 players on the ice were Berra, Russell & Hudler. In the 3rd Monahan and Cammy came on.

It's weird because the old version of this team had the same problem too!!!

That being said usually the first game back after being on the road is a bit of a dud, anyway, here's hoping this trend doesn't continue for too long!


Still impressed with the resolve of this team, given they are so young. Also, you have to love the way Berra looks in there, unreal!

Russell is a beast, can't give him enough credit. THE most underrated player in the league by far.

And keep it up Cammy.....the deadline is getting closer and closer

How did you guys like Smid? I thought he played okay for his first game...still looks like hes getting used to the new system and players, but I think this guy will be a good pickup.

You could definitely tell he struggled at times with the new system, but he was physical and decent defensively. I think he will be a good pick up as well.

Barely noticed him tbh...didn't seem like he was on the ice very much. And when he was, looked a bit tentative, but he needs 5 games before an opinion can be formed.

The Flames had absolutely no business getting a point in that game...

But I believe that one win secures you at the very least a tie in our bet....

Told you all Russell would be a good player for you. He's small but works hard. I cant understand why his brother has never cracked the NHL. They were basically the same. One chose D, one chose wing. Only one made it.

Berra looked great again. Smid looked okay, but he will improve once he's accustomed to systems etc. I thought Sven played decent at both ends although perhaps tried to do a little too much one on one in the offensive zone. However I do love it when he dangles...

I thought Sven often looked like the worst player on the ice last night. He seems to be regressing after the benchings, which is a bad sign for his strength of mind.

He just needs to stop trying to dangle through 2 NHL defenders, other than that he was alright IMO.
